How to cancel an OnlyFans subscription and turn off auto-renew

To cancel an OnlyFans subscription, open the creator’s page and switch off auto-renew. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged for that creator again unless you subscribe again.
How to turn off auto-renew on OnlyFans
Auto-renew is set separately for each creator, so you cancel one subscription at a time. OnlyFans’s terms say a subscription renews automatically for another period of the same length, at the current price, until you switch off the “Auto-Renew” feature on that creator’s page.
- Log in at
onlyfans.com. Type the address yourself rather than following a link in an email. - Open the page of the creator you want to stop paying, from your list of subscriptions or by searching their username.
- Find the auto-renew switch next to the subscription button and turn it off. Confirm if you’re asked to.
- Reload the page and check that auto-renew now shows as off. The renewal date becomes the date your access ends.
- Repeat for every other creator you want to cancel.
Do it before the renewal date. When you subscribe, you agree that OnlyFans won’t send you any further notice before it renews, so there may be no reminder. Menu wording changes from time to time; if you can’t find the switch, OnlyFans’s own help pages and support team have the current steps.
Cancelling on a phone
The steps on a phone are the same as on a computer, because OnlyFans is a website: open onlyfans.com in your phone’s browser and switch off auto-renew on the creator’s page. Subscriptions are charged to the payment method saved on your OnlyFans account, not billed through Apple or Google, so there’s nothing to cancel in your phone’s subscription settings. Be wary of any app or download that claims to be OnlyFans, and don’t give it your login.
What happens after you cancel
You keep access until the subscription period you cancelled in runs out. After that, OnlyFans’s terms say no further payments are taken for that creator and you can no longer see their subscriber content. If you change your mind, switch auto-renew back on before the period ends, or subscribe again later.
A subscription also stops renewing on its own if the creator raises their price, if your payment is declined and you have no other payment method saved, or if you close your account. Those are the cases the terms list.
Free subscriptions and free trials
A free subscription costs nothing to renew, so there’s no charge to stop. If you no longer want the creator’s posts in your feed, open their page and unsubscribe. A free page can still charge for pay-per-view posts and messages, but only when you choose to buy them. If the creator later starts charging, the terms say a subscription doesn’t renew after a price rise, so you shouldn’t be moved onto the paid price without choosing to subscribe again.
A free trial is a paid subscription that starts with some free days. If auto-renew is on when the trial ends, it continues at the creator’s regular price. To try a page without paying, turn auto-renew off as soon as you’ve claimed the trial; you should keep access until the free days run out. Free OnlyFans and free trials explains how trial links work.
Bundles
A bundle is several months of a subscription paid up front at a discount, usually 3, 6 or 12 months. Turning off auto-renew on a bundle stops the next charge, and you keep access for the months you’ve paid for. The terms say a subscription renews for a period of the same length at the current rate. We couldn’t confirm from OnlyFans whether that means another bundle or a single month, so if you plan to stay, check the renewal amount shown on the creator’s page before the date comes round.
Can you get a refund on OnlyFans?
Don’t expect one for a change of mind. Cancelling stops future payments; it doesn’t refund the period you’re in. OnlyFans’s terms ask fans not to make unjustified refund requests or unjustified chargebacks through their card provider, and say an account can be suspended or deleted if a refund or chargeback request is made in bad faith. Other points from the terms and the contract between fan and creator:
- Wallet credits, money you load onto your account in advance, are non-refundable.
- If OnlyFans closes your account for breaking its rules, prepaid subscriptions aren’t refunded.
- The fan–creator contract says it doesn’t affect any statutory refund rights you have, naming UK and EU consumer law. It also says the statutory right to cancel doesn’t apply to purchases other than subscriptions, such as pay-per-view posts and messages. How any of this applies to your case is for OnlyFans support, or a consumer adviser where you live, to answer.
- Paid content should reach you within 14 days of buying it, according to the same contract.
If you see a charge you don’t recognise, or you paid for something that never arrived, contact OnlyFans support through the contact form or the address in its terms, [email protected], before going to your bank. A charge you don’t recognise at all can also mean someone else is using your login, so change your password and turn on two-step verification. The terms list an email address, a contact form and a postal address, not a phone number, so be wary of “OnlyFans support” numbers in search results and of anyone who offers to get your money back for a fee. Common OnlyFans scams covers the look-alike emails and login pages to watch for.
How to remove your card from OnlyFans
Open the cards or payments section of your account settings and delete each card saved there. Removing a card isn’t a reliable way to cancel: the terms say that if one payment method fails, OnlyFans will use another one you’ve saved, and a renewal stops only when no payment method works. Turn off auto-renew first, then remove your cards if you don’t want any more payments taken.
How to delete your OnlyFans account
You can delete a fan account yourself in the “User Account” section of your OnlyFans settings. According to the terms, OnlyFans then deletes the account within a reasonable time and doesn’t charge any further subscriptions. Turning off auto-renew on each creator first does no harm if a renewal date is close. Afterwards you can’t get into the account or see any of the content you paid for, including pay-per-view posts and messages. If you only want to stop paying, turning off auto-renew is enough, and your account, messages and purchases stay where they are.
If you want to come back for less
Before paying again, check that the page still posts often enough to be worth it: is an OnlyFans page worth it? has the checks, and cheaper OnlyFans has every way to pay less. To hear when a creator you’ve cancelled starts a sale, tap the bell on their TastyFans profile; it also alerts you to price drops and free trials.
Questions
Do I lose access as soon as I cancel an OnlyFans subscription?
No. Turning off auto-renew only stops the next payment. OnlyFans’s terms say you can keep viewing the creator’s content until the end of the period you already paid for.
Can I get a refund on OnlyFans?
Don’t expect one for a change of mind: cancelling stops the next payment but doesn’t refund the period you’re in. The terms ask fans not to make unjustified refund or chargeback requests, and bad-faith ones can get an account suspended or deleted. Any refund rights you have under consumer law still apply, so contact OnlyFans support about a charge you think is wrong.
Does OnlyFans remind me before a subscription renews?
Don’t count on it. By subscribing you agree that you won’t receive further notice about the renewal, so turn auto-renew off before the renewal date if you don’t want to pay again.
Does deleting my OnlyFans account cancel my subscriptions?
Yes. OnlyFans’s terms say it won’t charge a deleted fan account for any further subscriptions. You also lose access to the account and everything you paid for, so if you only want to stop paying, turn off auto-renew instead.
How do I cancel OnlyFans on my phone?
The same way as on a computer: log in at onlyfans.com in your phone’s browser, open the creator’s page and switch off auto-renew. OnlyFans charges the payment method saved on your OnlyFans account, so you won’t find the subscription in your phone’s App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
