Assumptions

  • OnlyFans and Fansly keep 20% of everything: subscriptions, PPV and tips. Taxes, payment-processor holds and currency conversion aren't included.
  • Monthly figures take the subscriber count as it is today. PPV and tips are averages across all subscribers, not what your best fans spend.
  • The “same size page” year assumes you replace churned subscribers with new ones; the “no new subscribers” year applies churn every month and adds no one.
  • Discounts, free trials, promotions and referral bonuses aren't modelled.

How to use it

  1. Enter how many paying subscribers you have, or the number you're aiming for, and your monthly price. Use $0 for a free page.
  2. Enter the average PPV and tips per subscriber per month across everyone, including the fans who never buy anything. If you don't know, start with a few dollars and adjust.
  3. Set your monthly churn: the share of subscribers who don't renew. Then read the net per month and the two yearly figures, one where you keep replacing churned subscribers and one where you don't.
  4. Try a few scenarios: raising the price, more PPV, less churn. Then check what other creators in your niche charge in the prices guide, and write a bio that earns the price.

Questions

How much does OnlyFans take?

20% of everything: subscriptions, pay-per-view messages and posts, and tips. You keep 80%. Fansly takes the same 20%. The calculator applies that rate to all three income lines before showing the net figure.

What churn rate should I use?

Churn is the share of subscribers who don't renew in a month. Paid pages commonly lose 20–40% a month; a page with lots of fresh content and active DMs sits at the low end, and a page fans joined for one post sits at the high end. Free pages have little subscription churn but earn only from PPV and tips.

Is this what a typical OnlyFans creator earns?

No, it's what your numbers add up to. Most creators have far fewer than 100 paying subscribers, and income is very uneven: a small number of pages earn most of the money. Use the calculator to see what it would take to reach a goal, for example how many subscribers at $9.99 cover a month's rent after the fee.
